Our complimentary entry-level telematics service, Telematics Essentials* works with modem-equipped Ford vehicles and is designed to help reduce costs by showing you when service is needed and allowing you to schedule that service right in the application. Staying on top of maintenance can help improve uptime and can mean fewer repairs down the road.

Ford Pro™ E-Telematics
In addition to everything provided by Ford Pro™ Telematics, you’ll unlock new features when you add Ford electric vehicles to your fleet: real-time range and plug-in status; remote preconditioning; and tools to manage driver reimbursement for home charging. Real-Time Charge & Range Status
See which vehicles are/are not charging and view a live map to see available range. Data is constantly updated to factor in weather, driver behavior, payload, and traffic conditions to give an actual range that your electric vehicles can travel before needing to be recharged.
Remote Preconditioning
Batteries work best when they are a certain temperature. So, if your crew is scheduled to leave at 8:00 a.m., our software can detect local weather and start warming the battery and vehicle cabin while still plugged in, so your vehicle is ready to go with a full charge when the crew arrives.
Home Charging Reimbursement
If your drivers charge at home, our smart software can compile those costs for easy driver reimbursement. It can also tell if a personal electric vehicle is plugged in, so you’re not reimbursing for personal use.
Sustainability Tracking
On the Charge Insights dashboard, fleet managers can see how much gas is saved and how much CO2 is not going into the environment by using an electric vehicle. Exportable reports can be generated to document progress toward sustainability goals.

Ford Pro Data Services transmits vehicle data to your apps, so you can gain actionable insights for your fleet. Data signals include driver behavior, trip reports, as well as vehicle status, position and health. This manufacturer-grade vehicle data is delivered through our API (Application Programming Interface) to your business system or to a growing range of telematics service providers. Subscription tiers allow you to choose how often you want the data refreshed.
